In the plasma spraying process, metal or ceramic powders are melted in the plasma arc and then sprayed at high speed onto the workpiece that needs to be coated. In this way, a waterproof, strongly adherent coating can be deposited on tools and various equipment components. When used for spray guns, our electrodes must be able to withstand instantaneous plasma temperatures exceeding 12,000°C.

This instant high temperature and high pressure are not a problem for our F4 electrodes. The F4 electrode also adopts the back-casting method to connect copper alloy and tungsten alloy. Through this integral connection, the two alloys fuse and achieve a seamless bond.

Unlike brazing, which uses a solder as an intermediate medium to fuse the two alloys, brazing makes it difficult to achieve a complete connection. This leads to insufficient strength, and under the immense pressure and high temperature inside the gun body, uneven heat conduction and cracking can easily occur.
